For more than three decades, Annette Shapiro was an
extraordinary part of the heart and soul of Beit T’Shuvah. A self-described “professional volunteer,” Annette gave 
generously of her time, resources, relationships, ideas, and heart. She believed deeply in the power of community, the importance of Jewish values, and our shared responsibility to bring addiction out of the shadows and replace stigma and shame with compassion and hope.
