Beit T’Shuvah is not a detox center. Clients must test clean upon arrival.
Do you accept insurance, and what are the payment options?
We accept Medi-Cal, are in-network with Aetna, and will work with any major insurance providers out of network. Call to inquire about our competitive private pay rates. Scholarships and financial assistance are also available based on need.
Is Beit T'Shuvah only for Jewish individuals, or is it open to people of all faiths?
We welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds. Our program and community is both diverse and inclusive.
What makes Beit T'Shuvah's approach to recovery different from other treatment centers?
At Beit T’Shuvah, we offer a holistic treatment approach. Rather than just treating the addiction, we treat the whole person, combining psychotherapy, 12-step recovery, and Jewish spirituality to help guide the recovery process.
What does a typical day in the program look like?
Days include individual and group therapy, addiction counseling, creative, spiritual, and wellness programming, 12-step meetings, as well as community meals and activities. Clients live and grow together as a therapeutic community.

What role does the temple play in the recovery program?
Our temple offers weekly Shabbat services and holiday observances that give clients meaning beyond the clinical work. The parallels between recovery and the Torah give great insight to those suffering beyond the substance. Addiction is a dis-ease of the soul, and our temple and spiritual counselors help mend that wound.
Can the public attend Shabbat services at Beit T'Shuvah?
Yes, our services are open to the community! Visitors, families, and friends are always welcome! Friday night Shabbat services are at 6:30 pm at 8847 Venice Blvd. Saturday services are at the same location, but at 10:15 am. Join us, and feel what makes our community so special!
Can I livestream Shabbat services?
Yes, our Shabbat services and most major holidays are livestreamed on YouTube every Friday and Saturday!
