2022 Running 4 Recovery

For those seeking treatment for addiction, Beit T’Shuvah provides a haven for spiritual growth and healing. Housing both a residential treatment center and a supportive, spiritual community, Beit T’Shuvah approaches addiction and other destructive behaviors with a groundbreaking model focusing on the integration of the whole self—the mind, body, and spirit. Beit T’Shuvah helps their clients practice the art of living well through diverse programming which includes spirituality, psychotherapy, addiction counseling, 12 step programming, creative arts, and health and wellness programs. Participating in the Los Angeles Marathon provides individuals the opportunity to rebuild their energy and heal their bodies after years of neglect caused by destructive behaviors. The majority of residents who participate in the marathon maintain their sobriety.

Beit T’Shuvah’s team, Running4Recovery, will run alongside thousands of Angelenos for the ninth consecutive year. Beit T’Shuvah is the only Jewish organization that has the official designation of a “Featured Charity” of the Los Angeles Marathon, which requires at least 50 or more participants.

Over 90% of those seeking treatment at Beit T’Shuvah cannot afford it. As a sponsor, your support provides services to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. Using both traditional and nontraditional approaches, Beit T’Shuvah believes everyone has the right to redemption, and practices never turning a single soul away due to their inability to pay. Your support will make a great difference in the lives of those seeking recovery.
