An intervention is a method that uses love and support to give someone struggling with addiction the best possible opportunity for success. Drug problems affect not only the user but the individual’s entire network of friends and family.
At Beit T’Shuvah, intervention services include a series of assessments and consultations with family and friends to determine the best course of action. Interventions may address specific mental health issues such as addiction, compulsive-behavior, and self-destructive patterns. Intervention services also involve developing a comprehensive family history, establishing a treatment plan, providing psychoeducation on the nature of addiction in the context of family systems, guiding participants in the cultivation of communication skills, and effective strategies for the approach during the intervention.
By using different intervention modalities and Beit T’Shuvah’s integrated treatment approach, our intervention professional fosters authentic soul connection, hope and compassion during the intervention process.
