Beit T’Shuvah brought Rabbi Micha’el Akiba, M.A., M.Div., M.Th., M.M., a former congregational Rabbi and professor of the monotheistic religions, on board full-time in 2015 in connection with BTS’s first Intensive Outpatient Program offering. He continues as Rabbi and Spiritual Counselor in Beit T’Shuvah’s residential program teaching Torah, leading groups, teaching in the congregation’s Adult Education program and occasionally leading services.
Rabbi Micha’el believes that the magic of recovery can be found at BTS. He finds his work personally fulfilling and looks forward to coming to work every day. Rabbi Micha’el and his wife Tala met in Konya, Turkey.
